Do you carry an Epi-Pen?

Ok—I figure my MDs or pharmacist will let us know when we should get our shots. They don’t have enough vaccine for all the medical personnel, so I’m sure we will all be waiting some time.

What a shame! Scallops are absolutely my favorite shellfish.

Dr. Jen Ashton was just asked this question today on GMA3. She said people with risk factors move up to category 1C, with people 65 and older. Looking at this chart, it may be 1B, as I don’t see a 1C.

Just spoke to neighborhood pharmacist on the phone. She’s guessing no vaccine for pharmacies until 2021. They haven’t even said when she and her staff will get vaccinated. She said the state plan will guide distribution.

It’s good the protocol is to keep an eye on everyone who has obtained a vaccination for 15-20 minutes, just in case there are any reactions. Unfortunately I’ve sometimes had reactions a bit later than 15-20 minutes, but I’m sure I can work things out and be observed and with someone for longer, just in case I have a concerning reaction.

The New York Times recently reported that the suspected ingredient in the vaccine is Polyethylene Glycol. There is no egg in the vaccine, but one of the health care workers who reacted had an egg allergy.

Well, thankfully I have no allergies to eggs. There is a class action against Epi pen for their crazy high prices. I got a postcard and an automatically albwr unless I opt out. I will see if I get a small check.
