Do you do Poshmark?

I missed this thread when it was new - thanks for the helpful info. I’m not having much success, but I‘m not putting any effort into it, either. The commercials make it sound easy. Take a picture, post it online, and pretty soon you’ll have enough money to pay for a family vacation. Or a wedding, lol.

My problem is I don’t want to spend time promoting my stuff, doing the virtual parties, sharing my account on Facebook, etc. My items consist of jewelry from one of my daughter’s bad boyfriends (which I offered to sell for her), a few purses, and one new with tags MOB dress that I found in the back of a closet. I must have intended to return it but can’t remember even trying it on.

I priced items in line with past Poshmark sales, and I’m willing to negotiate, but the offers I get are far below the asking price. There’s a nice pair of 1/2 carat diamond earrings, which were appraised and have a replacement value of $800. I know that means they probably would go for $400 new, so I asked $250 and would happily take $200. Similar items have sold for more on the site. But I’m getting offers for $100, $65, $40.

I’m going to use the helpful info here and hope for better results.
