<p>Not that familiar with voice, but I do know one example, Renee Fleming. She couldn’t afford to go to Juilliard as an undergrad, and I believe went to one of the SUNY schools…she did go to Juilliard for grad school I believe…I believe Susan Graham as well didn’t go to one of the big conservatories.</p>
