I’m sorry. But I know what you mean. But I feel like not being invited to the weekend means I will be waitlisted if not rejected.

I’m all for lower class applicants being given an advantage in admissions; they have faced significant obstacles in thier life. I also think diversity is important; it’s just that my friend doesn’t really appear black at all (I’m almost positive he’s never faced any obstacles due to his racial makeup) Good luck to you; I’m sure that not being invited is NOT indicative of a waitlist or rejection.

well the regional admission officer called me and said my app looked fantastic and I was one of the best european file she had seen…I guess that does qualify as a hint!

SOOOOOOOOOOOO LUCKY! I’m literally freaking out…What if I don’t get accepted newhere (dun really wanna go to WUSTL so that doesn’t count)!?

I’m sure you ll get into at least one school…how many did u apply to?

I really don’t know about this one. I was accepted to W&M, completely rejected to Wake Forest (not even a waitlist), given spring semester to UMD, and accepted into Emory and UMiami. I’m trying to be optimistic but in the long run I think I will be waitlisted or rejected. Here are some of my stats:

-SAT: 680V 710M 650W= 2040 NEW/1390 OLD
-GPA: 4.0uw/4.4w
-Rank: 9/298
-AP Spanish, AP Calc AB, AP Economics, AP US History, AP World History, AP Calc BC, AP Biology
-ECs:Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse, Top 10 Jazz/Marching Bands in country, -Newspaper editor, SNHS, NHS, Spanish Club President

Other:
-Competitive Catholic High School in MD/DC
-White/Male

eh…I fear for you at Duke (it’s a shame you’re white).

But best of luck anyways! =)

I was deferred ED and im pretty sure ill be rejected RD

Florette, I applied to 9 schools, already got accepted to 2 and waiting for 7 others.
Roberto, I think you have a decent chance @ Duke…ur SAT scores are a lil weak but the rest is solid…GL!
TOMORROW IT IS!!! WISH ME LUCK AND GL TO EVERYONE WHO APPLIED!!!

Like 6 other kids from my school applied, so that also means I get rejected

i feel a waitlist coming

Me too…

i do believe ill be rejected
i got rejected from penn early lol…at least i got into unc (oos) and wustl, etc…

I was almost certain of acceptance. However, after my waitlist at Northwestern, Im now pessimistic about everything.

You are in the same situation as my D - waitlisted at NW and now waiting for the Duke decision. Ugh!

haha this one is easy i’m getting rejected applied early and was deferred but i give myself a .00001% chance of being accepted good luck to the rest of you you guys though to those accepted duke is amazing and you should all go :)

I’m thinking that Duke will follow the trend that 3 of my colleges has set and I’ll be waitlisted.

There is no way in hell i’m getting in now.

About half my school applied + I too was waitlisted at Northwestern, and if I can’t get in there, I can’t get into Duke.

ARG!!! I hate college already, and i’m not even in it.

ARGH this week is so… anxiety-ridden and makes me all nervous and sick in the head and the stomach

i feel rejection, and i havent even received my letter. my essays and stats and evthing just seem to SUCK after i reread it right now. bah !!!

but then again colleges are unpredictable!!! keep your hopes up!!

don’t let one college’s waitlist/denial crush your hopes!!
