What is your end goal? I think it’s great you’re passionate about it and will have a much better understanding of what real world patient care is before investing a lot of money into college.
@MistySteel27 Hi! Thank you so much for your encouragement. I hope to become an OB/GYN or Reconstructive (“Plastic”) Surgery PA → so basically to get into PA school. Ik that my major + school doesn’t rlly matters to them but rather my experiences & GPA so I also factored that into my school list.
If your goal is to be a PA then you absolutely made a great choice!!! Look into 5 year freshman admit PA programs. Elizabethtown College and Duquesne are two off the top of my head. Just watch out for the requirements to continue in the program. Seton Hall has one but it’s very difficult to meet the minimum and I don’t think it shaves a year off. Look at the direct admit PA programs throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
(Read the fine print though).
High rigor + CNA + internship should totally help you there.
