<p>Officer positions matter as much as you do with them. I was President of Debate, and so I single-handedly taught a class for a semester (teacher was ignorant about debate). Thus, it was much more important than, say, treasurer. However, if the titles were just for resumes and you couldn’t indicate much difference, then it’s not very useful.</p>
