Harry and Meghan launched their new website. I think it’s interesting to check it out first.
Then check out the news coverage. Everyone will have their own opinion. Personally, I think it’s fine.

I’m not sure what “stress” this would bring. I’m not sure what kind of internet presence they had before, but this seems very simple, straightforward, and focused on their philanthropic work as well as media business opportunities. Aside from their identity through the names, there doesn’t seem to be any trying to “trade on” the connection to royalty. Though not a close follower, their activities have seemed a little random since Harry’s book and this seems like a step to things being more cohesive.

Does the world stop when people get cancer treatment? I say this as a cancer survivor. They didn’t just decide to launch a website out of the blue - probably been in the works for a bit. And it’s not like he’s on his deathbed. I’m convinced in the eyes of many these two can do nothing right.

I agree. I think they’ve made some wrong decisions along the way, but I believe they really have humanitarian hearts. This has been a life altering decision for Harry, and they seem to just be trying to get their footing. I like the new website and I wish them luck.

Be assured much of the manufactured outrage comes from the inside, in Hollywood bad press is better than no press and the simple re-launch of a website would be rather mundane as positive press. Their contract with WME hasn’t been particularly advantageous to either party, but in this case its pretty straightforward. They would be stupid to launch a website during a “mentions” lull, that is basic SEO 101. That is also why the re-release of her podcast with the new label (a clear downgrade from Spotify) was announced late yesterday after the website launch and the swirl with using her coat of arms rather than their joint coat of arms made its rounds. That was basic SEM and PPC 101.

You may choose to believe that, but without proof it’s just an empty assertion. Perhaps the revamped website has more to do with the upcoming Invictus Games promotion. It looks like Harry and Meghan are in Vancouver right now. Regardless of what some may think, they seem to work on their projects, as opposed to just showing up for a photo.

If the British public dislikes H&M so much and is tired of them, why the coverage? As they aren’t working royals there is no need to publicize their activities - it isn’t as if they are in the UK, or representing the UK in any fashion. It would be incredibly easy for the British press to just ignore them. Of course, they won’t do that. I don’t even really care for the couple, but I think it is fascinating how the British press just can’t quit their addiction to them.
