I’ve been told by the AO’s that they do track interest. The examples they gave included attending tours, and participating in in one or more of the outreach programs (Gator for a Day, Student Recruitment Conference, etc).

It’s not given a LOT of weight, but it is one more thing they take into account. I know some schools track how often a potential student logs into the website, but I don’t think this is something UF does. If you’re interested in UF, try to attend at least one tour of the campus (but that advise works for any college).

Good Luck!
