For instance if you look at the Quartz article mentioned earlier you will see a list of colleges commonly associated with strong programs: Cal, Stanford, CMU, USC, UT Austin, GTech, UIUC, SJSU, UCSD, and Az State. So SV hires students from California, to Arizona, to Illinois, to Pennsylvania, to Georgia.
