Secondly, No one grade does not ruin your chances for any school. Since you are in Geometry, I assume you are a Rising Junior? What classes are you taking next year? What are you looking to study in college? How did you do on the PSAT/SAT?
The ultimate goal is finding the “top” school that fits you, not the top school according to the thoughts of some magazine! That could be Harvard, or it could be your State U, or some school you’ve never even heard of. The one nice thing about this board is you’ll get lots of suggestions. Best of luck on your journey, and try not to worry too much about what school you’re going to go to.
