Does Pitt take best SAT score or Averages em up

Say you scored 1750, 1800, and 1550 on 3 attempts. Does Pitt average em up or do they take the best score out of the 3???

<p>Semi off-topic but my HS counselor always said never take your SAT 3 or more times because it makes the schools you’re applying to think you don’t know how to study for a test (since they see all your scores to super score). So if you do bad on the SAT twice, switch over to ACT.</p>
