If more people choose state schools or other offerings, more will come off the waitlist. Last year’s yield was higher than anyone could’ve anticipated.
One thing is clear, if you are waitlisted and still want Rice (or any waitlisted school), you will need to demonstrate your desire and not just stay on a waitlist and hope. Waitlist with passion and determination, but put your deposit elsewhere (just one) and either way you will thrive and love your school.</p>
