FWIW, I was told I qualified for TAG - golden 4 done, all major done (except one that wasn’t offered any time in the last decade), major not offered at CSUSM- was still denied. I got in on appeal, with a multitude of extenuating circumstances. I say go with one of the schools you got in to, don’t waste a year on something that’s not guaranteed.
