Does San Diego State accept Spring transfers?

actually some CSU campuses have a guarantee program. Somewhat confusingly, it has the same name as the UC program.

Local Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)

If you apply to a major covered by the TAG, you may qualify for guaranteed admission if you: Complete 100% of your transferable units from community colleges in SDSU’s local admission area or complete 100% of your transferable units from Palomar or MiraCosta community colleges and apply for a program that is not offered at CSU San Marcos.

op in a post on 4/12: So I got accepted to SF state, Chico, UCSC and was planning to go to chico state to major in biological sciences and hopefully get into PA school after i get my degree
my question is would my chances of getting into a PA school be lower because I’m getting a degree from a school thats not looked upon as rigorous compared to a UC, or is a degree a degree no matter where you get it from as long as your GPA is high and requirements for PA school is all complete?

The OP’s biggest problem is not going to be the name of the school on the diploma. Funny how she/he focuses on this “dilemma” instead of the elephants in the room. I don’t know how much planning the OP has done regarding PA training (I suspect not much), but in about 3 minutes I found this:

Most students had four to five years of hands-on clinical experience prior to applying. PA school applicants come to the table with a variety of medical experience, especially if they are strong applicants.

Its wonderful to have dreams, but the OP doesn’t seem to have done much of the legwork in turning dreams into reality. With a tess-than-competitive GPA (that somehow is going to become a high GPA) and no apparent plans for getting relevant medical experience this seems like a plan destined to fail, sad to say.
