@ Mikemac - I stand corrected on TAG for CSU. Silly me, thinking they’d call their ‘local’ program something different than the state-wide UC TAG. Sometimes I think the CA College system sets out to confuse kids trying to navigate what should be a pretty simple process. I wonder who had it first…
@fish125 and @raychil89 you are kind of missing the point. The OP didn’t get into SDSU this term. That choice is unavailable to him but, he was admitted to several other, very reputable schools. UCSC, UCI, Chico and SF State.
His question was - since he didn’t get into his dream school, should he put his life on hold, stick with a CC, try to bring his stats up and take another run at San Diego next year - or should he head to one of the places that will have him now.
How would you advise him to proceed?
