does the SAT actually reflect intelligence?

People who work hard generally tend to succeed in their career. The SAT does not measure intelligence. It is one type of test that some people do exceptional in, some do mediocre in, and some do poorly. For example, my situation. I’m from a rural midwestern small town. I do perfectly fine in AP tests, our state essessment tests, school tests, etc. My SAT score, however, is significantly lower than any of these tests. Does that mean I’m not smart? I don’t think so. I just didn’t know how to take that darn test. some hope for those of you who are worrying about this.
