<p>I live on the West Coast, but my parents live in New England. I applied to Bates last year, and was rejected (now I’m re-applying during a gap year). I don’t recall getting an email like this last time. My fingers are crossed, but I’m still skeptical - I won’t get my hopes up until I have the official word from admissions!</p>
