Does University of Chicago have a good Arechalogy/History Program?

<p>In history, Chicago’s doctoral program (which means its faculty) is ranked tied for 4th in the country by US News. That’s pretty darn good. US News doesn’t rank anthropology/archaeology but the last National Academy of Sciences/National Research Council (NRC) study ranked Chicago’s anthro department tied for #1 (with UMich): <a href=“http://chronicle.uchicago.edu/950928/rankings.shtml[/url]”>http://chronicle.uchicago.edu/950928/rankings.shtml&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
