<p>yeah as far as GEs go I think only Art History/European History can get you out of the Western Culture req and only AP languages can get you out of the language requirement. But for each 4 or 5 that you get, you can get 4 units of elective credit. So, although you don’t really get course equivalence or anything for a lot of them (don’t know about math/science because that’s not my area) it can really bump up your class standing… for example, I’m technically starting my sophomore year right now but next semester I’m going to be a junior credit-wise because of AP. 
It can really help you out if you want to graduate early for financial reasons.</p>
