“Does West Point look at your senior year schedule before making a decision”

No, there are Letters of Assurance (LOA’s) that start going out to some candidates during the summer after their junior year, with offers of appointment continuing into the spring of the senior year for others–They will be basing their decision on the strength of your application, test scores, class ranking, the classes you have completed and the grades you have earned, not on what you will be scheduled to take in the future. Many candidates will have their application submitted during the spring of their Junior year and then as soon as their junior year transcript is available they have it sent to the academy early that summer. Apply for your nomination as soon as the Congressional or Senatorial office allows. You will still have to submit senior year transcripts no matter when you submit your application, or get a nomination, LOA, or offer of appointment.

Good Luck!
