Does Yale place a heavy emphasis on the Writing portion of the SAT?

<p>ive been to TWO Yale information sessions with two different admissions officers and asked them this same question</p>

<p>and BOTH said that Yale DOES look at the Writing Section of the SAT </p>

<p>The reason why they lowered the SAT Subject test requirement from 3 to 2 is because they consider the Writing SAT section as fullfilling one of the SAT Subject requirements</p>

<p>so yes, they STILL look at your writing sat ii section a lot</p>
