<p>Professor should leave the dog at home from now on. Things could have turned out MUCH worse than they did (which was bad enough).</p>
<p>Report it to the school. This dog could be a danger to other students. Think about protecting them.</p>
<p>Well personally the parent has no business “reporting” anything, they weren’t there, they don’t know the story. Let the student make the report. I remember many dogs in college. I remember when dogs ran “free.” Strange how things change. It’s unfortunate and if the dog is really dangerous and the bite was unprovoked then the student can “tell the story” to an appropriate official but no one here can pass “judgement” on the prof or the dog or the student or the situation.</p>
