<p>It’s been several years so I don’t remember everything. Our dog had endoscopy by a specialist. Turned out he had an allergy to food he had been eating for years. He switched to venison food and hight dose steroids that were slowly tapered. He went from 110 to 80 lbs but slowly stabilized to less than 100. I remember the vomiting (and carpet stains) cannot recall how much diarrhea. It was several months to heal but after a few years he was even able to go back to regular dry food. The specialist. Probably saved him. </p>
<p>Just want to point out that onion is fatal to dogs</p>
