just wondering if you guys know of any fun summer programs

Fun summer programs where you learn stuff?

Or summer programs that are meant for fun?

“Fun” is relative…I’m a really chill guy that doesn’t do anything for colleges alone and has fun, but I’m still interested in some things at the very least.

If you’re into sports/music, I’d suggest camps in those areas. If video games, there are video game camps. The specific area you’re interested in is where you should go IMO.

Just pure, classic and loose “fun”, you’re better off hanging out with your friends and chilling and watching TV, playing computer etc. I’d probably do that my summer after senior year.

TASP was the most fun six weeks I’ve ever had. It’s also pretty intense academically but I like that kind of stuff.

May I suggest the Clark Scholars Program at Texas Tech?

Satori camp is a cheap, week-long, yet super fun academic summer cam in Spokane, Washington.

Just check it out: [Satori Summer Camp for Gifted Teens](http://www.satoricamp.org)

CTY is awesome. Go to realcty(dot)org to learn about its awesomeness.

Concordia Language Villages are fun. My kids really liked them (two different languages, all different lengths of camps over the years). I’ve heard that the French Voyaguers program is especially fun (D2 may go this summer if she doesn’t get into her first choice summer program).

How about a teen expedition with Adventure Links? They’re in VA and have done a lot of great trips and local excursions with the my kids’ classes. Not academic at all, but not all learning is in your head!
