<p>We’re in the same boat. Since my daughter received her CVS letter we’re trying to schedule a visit in the window before she goes back to school. The 'Dore for a Day program looks like a great idea but we’ll be going on less than two weeks notice so she’ll have to try and simulate the experience by visiting classes independently.</p>
<p>As for places to go, I asked an alum yesterday and she recommended a place called the San Antonio Taco Company. It’s apparently far from up-scale, but the food is very good and it’s near the campus so it’s popular with Vanderbilt students and staff.</p>
