<p>Memorial and Cassat traveled cross-country to visit the New York Times education supplement two weeks ago. The Times did a focus on new luxury, high cost towers at BU, Purdue and GW. Carleton’s dorms are mentioned in the intro not for their high price tag or gold plated doorknobs but “environmental touches like radiant in-floor heating and real-time energy monitors (like those at Carleton Colleges new Cassat and Memorial Hall).”
