Most of my closest friends are those that live right near me in my dorm. Plus I gained a lot of new close friends by going greek as well- it’s a great way to expand your social circle. I don’t meet that many people in classes if they’re lecture-style, but it’s easy to meet people in smaller discussion classes. (It’s also easier in SESP since the school is so small.) Most dorms will have mingling between sophomores and freshmen; greek life will add juniors and seniors to the mix. Otherwise, get involved on campus; clubs and groups are the easiest ways to make new friends outside of your dorm.
