My daughter lived in a traditional double in Watson her freshman year. Although not one of the more popular choices she loved it because it was NOT a party dorm and she likes to study in her room. She also liked Watson’s proximity to the science buildings, the library and the Williams Center. Because of location a lot of the students residing there are engineering and science majors, which reduced the frequency of late night parties. She liked Watson so much she and three friends opted to stay there sophomore year in a 4-person suite. The major drawbacks are the lack of air-conditioning, carpeting and elevators.

Although my daughter will be off-campus during the fall of her junior year she plans to change locations to Keefe for spring semester to spend some time with her fellow “environmental wackos” (and ironically get to experience a/c for the first time in a college dorm room).
