<p>It doesn’t really suck for freshmen, and many love it (the distance is the only thing that drives some people crazy). The only problem is that some freshmen have really small dorms. Other freshmen are more fortunate. I’d say that about 2/3 of freshmen get stuck with smaller rooms and the other 1/3 get medium-sized ones. And even if you get a small one, it’s not like it’s a horrible option in comparison with other dorms. You’ll still probably have more space to yourself than the people in Max P, Shoreland, and definitely Pierce. Plus, a single is the same price as a double for freshmen.</p>
