. My daughter minored in Cinema and “Wait, that’s it?” may have been her exact words when she walked into SCA to inquire. She already had a declared major* and had already taken CTCS 190, so they handed her a form and she signed it. Her minor required 20 units, but minors are not limited in units - you can take as many as you can fit into your schedule. She took 42 units in SCA (she also studied abroad for a semester AND graduated on-time) because she LOVED the SCA classes.</p>

<p>*If you were accepted to a major, then you already have a declared major. If you were accepted “undeclared,” you just need to see your adviser and declare a major.</p>
