Double Major?

kadams - Here are the audition dates/locations for this auditions season:
[Dates & Locations: Tisch School of the Arts at NYU](http://drama.tisch.nyu.edu/object/dr_dateslocations.html)

If you are really interested in Tisch you should apply and get your audition scheduled asap before the dates fill up. My D auditioned in Austin last year and LOVED theTisch audition. It was her favorite of all she did. Everyone dances, then you sing and do your monologue. And they really seem interested in what you have to say during the interview. It was very laid back but also exciting. She was accepted but ended up deciding to attend another program.

Keep in mind that Tisch is a 50/50 process. Half of the decision is based on your academics and half on your audition. And it is all or nothing - you apply to Tisch and are either accepted to Tisch or not at all. You can’t be accepted to “just NYU.” And Tisch will place you in the studio they feel is most appropriate. You can say at the audition that you will only accept the MT studio and you will be in or out of that studio. Or you can say you will accept any studio placement and they will assign you to the studio - maybe MT but also maybe another acting studio.

Tisch is also very expensive. When my D received her package it was estimated that the total COA for this year was just under $60,000. So if financial aid is important to you just be prepared for sticker shock if you do get in.

Best of luck in deciding what you want to do.
