I live in a small town so there is no mobile vet available. Last year, I took him to a different vet hoping that would help but it didn’t. The one nearest to me is female, and she is the “primary care” vet so she is the first one to poke and prod him when he had the broken leg. She does not do surgery of that type, so she referred us to a vet clinic in a nearby town for the surgery. That is the one I took him to last year for his shots. The vet was a young male about my son’s age (20s) and I thought the dog would love him, but he growled at him just like the female vet. I am going to have to just deal with it. But I still dread it.
