Dressing Young (Part 1)

Thanks Alumother, I’ll try searching with that term.

Floral, kitten heeled, Manolo Blahnik…[Manolo Blahnik - Floral Mid-Heel Halter - Neiman Marcus](http://■■■■■■/kEW0XL)

Goldenrod yellow, satin, bow-toed, d’orsay M. Blahnik. [Manolo Blahnik - Bow-Toe d’Orsay - Neiman Marcus](http://■■■■■■/mxYOEY)

Ahhh . . . here we go!

Okay, love all the Manolo Blahnik’s from Alumother. My vote goes to the Floral Mid-heel Halter but maybe it’s a little to frivolous for the occasion.

Here is a cheery shoe by Kate Spade:

And a floral d’orsay by Manolo:

Another blingy shoe:

Also comes in gold and multi-sparkle.

My cheapskate genes are showing. I cannot imagine spending that kind of money for a pair of shoes. :o

What luscious shoes, Bunsen. I have an overpowering urge to buy the Kate Spade multi-paper hearts just to keep them in a box and get them out and look at then sometimes!

What is it about glitter shoes? I secretly want to own them in every color. They just look so sparkly and festive, even though I would never have the nerve to wear a pair. These are the cr

OMG! $3000??? You ladies are out of my league! I bow to you!

Just for illustrative purposes only, jym! I wouldn’t think of spending that on shoes…way over the top.

Loving the shoes!!! The floral shoes are so happy and summery!

Picked up 2 pairs of shoes this afternoon for D2 who starts her summer job/internship next Monday. She won’t be home until Thursday night so I have been preshopping for her. She will be in an office environment and can’t have open-toed shoes/sandals. I found a pair of Coach Dotty black patent leather flats ($79) and a very cool pair of Calvin Klein gunmetal flats with a metal buckle embellishment ($39.90) at Nordstrom Rack!!! What a bargain! She has a major bunion (born with it) so most heels are out. Didn’t see anything for me though but I wasn’t really shopping for me.

Those Kate Spades are way beautiful. And Gourmetmom - do they have elastic straps in a blush pink? Those are what my SIL wore to her recent wedding:).

jym, ahh, window shoping is free :)

I love the flowered pumps. I need to stay away from this thread…I now own new fabulous Sperry espadrilles and a few other “items” and I had to sit on my hands not to “own” the Papell dress! I have that same “shape” bigger top thinner bottom…

It’s this shoe, but in glazed cork:

Ah. Not the same. But glorious nevertheless. I find Blahnik rarely disappoints. And momofthreeboys, you are doing us such a service:). I thank you…

Love how Gourmetmom’s Louboudin silver shoes have the red on the inside of the heel. Can just imagine the effect when walking in such shoes.

I think the Metropolitan Museum of Art needs to to do a shoe fashion exhibit like the clothes one . . . or have they already? Shoes can truly be objects of art! And enormous fun to window shop.

NorthernMinnesota . . . I have a funny feeling you’re going to go with a different dress than the purple flutter sleeve. Go with your heart. I look forward so much to having my own kids get married some day. College, careers . . . they pale in comparison to getting married. That’s the big one. If it takes until the stroke of midnight you must find the right dress! We’re here for you.

They look like my bronze Donald Pliner shoes, except my heel not as high (& cost less than $100). I do enjoy seeing the beautiful shoes in stores.

I really love the pictures of dresses, whether for parties, MOB, or brides

It is also more fun to spend someone else’s money.
I love some of the shoes and love to window shop but would not spend that amount on a pair of shoes.
