I ordered 2 bike shorts for my kiddo. I wish lulu has their pants on sale! Did I say I am a lulu addict?
Sorry, can’t do the form fitting styles in warmer weather. TBH, I don’t even like leggings in cooler weather but they are practical for working out. (This goes all the way back to my dislike of Danskin tights during my ballet years!)
I have a pair of trekkie pants from Athleta that are at least 5 years old that are very lightweight. Maybe something like this? https://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=530640012&cid=1059471&pcid=1059471&vid=1&grid=pds_40_95_1&cpos=40&cexp=1501&cid=CategoryIDs%3D1059471&cvar=11273&ctype=Listing&cpid=res20052512636645458003806#pdp-page-content
And the past few years I really don’t care for my legs in shorts. For my whole life I have had mottled- looking skin on my legs and at my age I really dislike seeing it.
I am a dress person. I hate my wrinkly knees, so tea length and maxis are my favorite trends. I will also wear my Tommy Bahama dresses a lot this summer, just not on the beach!
WFH in warmer weather for me will mean skorts or shorter skirts. Our house is not cold so I’m fine with bare legs.
I suspect we may be going back to the office soon though - should find out this week!
@BunsenBurner I could do to-the-knee dresses. I have some skirts and skorts I do wear . . . I guess I am looking at a summer of not really needing to dress up much but don’t have the same number of sweatshirt type clothes in warm weather items!
I am also going to pick a pair of Vionic sandals to wear around the house. Flat feet and bare feet aren’t a good combo!
I really like the lulu align crops, but since I don’t want our kitten snagging them, I haven’t been wearing them so much. My “look” these days is old tshirts and shorts that won’t snag with kitten claws.

They are having 25% off sale so I’ve been cruising their site.
@surfcity…even if you don’t want to dress up and are looking for knock around stay at home wear…there are very casual dresses or sundresses, knit or otherwise…I often wear those at home on warm days (I work at home). If you really prefer pants, then capri pants in a light weight fabric, or maybe linen casual ones?
Examples of casual dresses I’d wear at home:

@soozievt I adore your style!!! Thanks for sharing the links! I especially love the last gartnethill dress, the Athleta dress, and the cropped linen trouser! I never bought anything at gartnethill before.
Cute dressed, @soozievt !
I think I may just order the gartnethill dress (Last one from all the dresses links) but I am in bed and the CC is out of reach ?.
@Nhatrang…ha ha, well, glad I got someone something, on their dime of course. I have ordered from Garnet Hill for years. I don’t own that dress, but was just looking up examples for the person looking for casual stuff to wear at home, etc. if not leggings / yoga pants.
Come to think of it, I like that Athleta dress too and could be convinced to get it, but realize I have something pretty similar to it already and so think I won’t get it. You should though!
PS, get with the program…be like me and memorize your CC! LOL
Sadly, I have my CC number memorized and can shop anywhere, anytime.
LOL. I have mine memorized, too. Thanks for making me feel al ittle better @HouseChatte . I love these choices, @soozievt . Makes me want to shop and I’m not going anywhere!
There are definitely some master shoppers on this thread! Always appreciate the links and suggestions! Thank you!
I’ve had a couple of the Athleta Santorini dresses - it’s a model they have kept around for a bit with slight changes and yearly pattern switch ups.
I love that Santorini dress, but the high necks don’t flatter me and I think they are so cute! I need a V neck.
I looked at those Eddie Bauer shorts, so cute. I’m still thinking about them.
I usually end up in capris in the summer because in my line of business I am often climbing ladders or crawling under decks. I’ve never tried the skorts, but the ones posted here are super cute and I think would work. I hate my body, too much flab from the second baby, big butt, biggish thighs, hate my knees! Not much bosom. I’m about twenty pounds overweight.
