Drill Mount Frameless Eyewear

Another Silhouette fan here. However, I can be a bit rough on glasses, and the bendy arms broke on me, more than once. Fortunately each arm can be replaced, though for $75 per arm a few years back, the cost can add up. Now I have a pair with folding arms, which are proving sturdier and equally light. Function can be more important than form at times.

However, I would like some kicky plastic frames, as I do like to be able to look up to date on occasion. Does anyone have an opinion on Zenni vs Warby Parker?

^^^funny you should mention this. I just took my rimless silhouettes in yesterday to he the second arm replaced. The first broke last September. My optician charged $120 for my pair. Grrrr…since I’d like a new pair, but this is so much cheaper. Since the Frames is out of stock now, they have to order overseas at it takes 3 weeks. I just pray nothing happens to my new current ones. I’m done with this type of arm after this, I think.

Consolation, we are our own worst judge.

@“great lakes mom” , Warby Parker is a lot more expensive, but they let you try on the frames. When I looked, they also had a much smaller selection. But that selection is probably more concentrated on fashionable frames.
