<p>I wanted to thank all for contributing to this thread and through private messages! Lots of good, encouraging info. I do already have one in college and am very well aware of the environment and temptation. We are not looking for a “dry” campus or congregants of “tea-totalers” (as one member labled). But my second college kid, is really looking forward to college where he envisions most enrolled in a BFA theatre program, ready to work hard and focus on their dream of performing. He is a bit tired of the high school debauchery scene. Not that he doesn’t know how to deal/relate with kids who like to party all of the time He just has higher expectations of the college programs he has applied to and is hoping that the party scene is the exception for his peers and not the norm. It seems he is in luck and his initial impressions/expectations will be met judging by what I have seen here.</p>
