Applepear, your son has probably already taken a number of Icore prerequisites, since he is now a sophomore. Your aim now should be to take the classes he still needs to have to apply as a standard admit during this Fall semester ONLY, as he should be eligible to apply to Kelley in the Fall. Did your son complete A100 last spring? You posted then that there was a chance he would drop. If he took A100, you need to get his microecon grade from this summer to IUB ASAP, so that your son can take G202. G202 may be the only Icore prerequisite he needs to even take this fall. He is eligible to take G202 if he already has credit for microecon; and he certainly does if he got a B or B- in microecon this summer at a cc. However, IUB needs proof of the grade immediately so that your son can get into a G202 class. Is he already signed up for G202? You and your son seem not to accept the fact that he has not met the microecon requirement. My son and took both intro econs at Ivy Tech and they met the micro and macro Kelley requirements, and probably hundreds of other students did the same, too, and met the Icore intro econ requirements. I don’t know why it would be different for your son.

Anyway, it he does not take G202 this fall, he will have a whole other semester of classes in the Spring to take before he applies to Kelley, unless, of course, he has already taken at IUB a class that substitutes for the A100/G202 combination. If he applies during this Fall, he can be accepted to Kelley beginning in the Spring 2015 semester. Which Icore classes has he taken.
