Hmmm… Michelle and JB are doing an interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox Wednesday night.
Again, they should just disappear. All they’re going to do is give more fodder for the public, no matter what they say.

Everybody seems to want to earn a few dollars from this. They’re on People’s cover; I guess that’s a break from the speculation whether Kris Jenner slept with all the in-laws.
What the heck does Kelly expect to learn that’s new? Or will people tune in to try to see if there’s some new contrition? It just rolls on.
I’m not a big fan of the media, in general, since they only thrive with successful marketing. In many cases today, its less an info resource than a machine. But, deep in the back of my mind, this story (and this conversation, with other examples) is causing me to reevaluate my casual tv watching.
I would imagine that dragons are sanctioned because they fall nicely under the umbrella of “mythical creatures”. Letting dinos slide into the dragon category is an “elegant” solution to the problem.
Can we say that all the epic rain this week is in some way God’s plan to wash away the sin? (jk)

Curious to see how Jim Bob and Michelle defend, spin, and rewrite history. Josh is 27 - can he not speak for himself?
Well, an interview on Fix News doesn’t promise much in the way of hard questions. OTOH, Megan Kelly is no pushover. This might be interesting.
Actual books a very well-educated friend bought for my kid when he was little. And they were not intended as fantasy but as science:

A lot of fundamentalist Christians live in a parallel universe, where they have their own schools, science, and music (among other things) and live relatively quiet existences like the rest of us. Until a couple like the Duggars comes along and allows its children to be exploited for the sake of financial gain, we don’t give this stuff much thought one way or the other.
I guess Jim Bob and Michelle are feeling the pressure now to answer some of the accusations and Fox News relishes the ratings bonanza (not that Megyn Kelly lacks ratings).
The few times I have seen Megyn Kelly, I have thought her quite rude and abrasive (I’m old - I was raised watching interviews where the reporters managed to be both firm and polite inpersuing their questions, a lost art nowadays it appears). Given that the Duggars aren’t lefty liberals, I have a sneaky suspicion she will go easy on them. I will gain a whole new respect for her If she proves me wrong.
Someone will have to report here on CC though. I have no plans to watch (I’m sure I have something more appealing to do, clean the toilet or something)
Perhaps the Stanley Cup finals will have started by then!
*Desirae, 36, tells PEOPLE there are red flags to look for when it comes to abuse, some of which she clearly saw just by watching 19 Kids and Counting.
“I remember watching the show and mentioning to friends and family that I feel something is off and something will come out,” Desirae says. She says some of the warning signs included controlling parents, very submissive children and an isolated environment.
“When you are so isolated there are very few adults you can confide in,” says Desirae, who was homeschooled along with her siblings. “I also recognized that striving for perfection. If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.”
My favorite head scratcher is a picture I saw from a creationist. In illustrating how humans and dinosaurs coexisted, it the picture showed Jesus sitting in a saddle riding a dinosaur. The hilarious part was that Jesus, the creator of the world and lord of all, needed a saddle and reins to ride the dinosaur.
The finals begin that night!
I have the DVR set!
JB and Michelle claim they “want to share our hearts” in the scheduled interview. (rolling eyes)
Wonder if the Duggar household allows for public relations crisis management cause I’m guessing THAT’S who they are entertaining this weekend!!!
Yea, when I read the ‘share our hearts’, I honestly wanted to puke.
As far as I know, as long as you’re not a paper-based Nielsen family, you can watch and it won’t tip the viewer numbers higher. Or if you are, just don’t note it. (Sorry, world of data collectors.) Some families get devices that track.
Two things that really bug me:
We purpose to go out for a lunch or dinner date weekly. Grandma (Mary Duggar) has helped us to keep our weekly date by baby-sitting, for which we are extremely grateful. We also purpose to never allow the sun to go down without resolving conflicts.
I’ve never heard that. Is it a particular regional thing or just an affectation. Either way who, besides them, talk that way?
