<p>haha ive been observing this thing for the past few days and im nervous like alot of you all. </p>
<p>this whole thread reminds me of a drama tv show like lost or something. the villians inlcude the ■■■■■■ and then you also have the ever present mystery of the tab and its meaning (like the hatch). we also have our hero’s with the mathematical computations and our damsels (juliette) who fret only to be re-assured of themselves by the hero’s </p>
<p>do i think i will get in: i suppose i dont know but like serenity posted earlier, you must not fear what you do not know. </p>
<p>on another note you can be nervous as fyuck about what you dont know.</p>

<p>Actually, 1/3 of the applicants are generally deferred. I forget where I saw this, but it was either on the Duke website or on a piece of mail that they sent. And I was surprised to hear that someone thought that most of us would be rejected. Just from looking at ED threads from past years, their acceptance rates have been relatively high, because the students that bother to come on here are usually above average. But I don’t know, I could be wrong. </p>

<p>If you do a search on The Chronicle’s website, you can read a great deal about past years early decisions.</p>
<p>Do we recieve our financial aid package with our decision? I have not even completed the css or anything for finincial aid yet.</p>
<p>^^^ Yeah I wanna know this too. I did the CSS Profile, but didn’t send tax returns or anything because I’m from Canada and my parents don’t have them yet.</p>
<p>I forgot to turn in my W2 and Tax return forms, and I emailed Duke and they said to turn it in as soon as possible because without it, they couldn’t form a financial estimate.</p>

<p>I was thinking about the tabs, and I don’t think the midyear report correlates with the tab issue. You can check the status of each part of your application under the “To-Dos” tab, not the “review…” tab. But it is possible that the need to change housing, etc. has something to do with it. It will be very interesting to see how it all plays out…</p>

<p>i just called duke undergrad. admissions and she told me that emails will be sent tonight and official decisions will come out tuesday night at 6pm</p>
