Would it be a good idea if we all posted “tab/no tab” on the decision thread once we find out if we got in? just to see if there’s any correlation - I had my tab the whole time but am over fity percent certain of a deferral on account of my B minus in Calc AB :(

I just realized that the 14th is the only day from now until the 15th that I have an AWAY basketball game…wow I better be home in time.

Don’t worry conscience444, I know someone that got in ED with a B in precalc honors.

It’s just a tab guys, I really don’t blame people for being nervous but I really doubt there’s any correlation between the absence/presence of a tab and an acceptance.

a B- isnt that bad…what are your other stats? do you think you’re a strong applicant?

@hgblue i have an away basketball game too, until 5, so i gotta get ther hell outta there quick to make it home in time for the BIGGEST CLICK OF MY LIFE!

@conscience

Admissions does not admit or reject people based on ONE grade in ONE class. Even if you are applying to Pratt there is no reason why you should let one grade dictate how you feel about your overall application.

One word - Asian
lol - my other stats are average, CR and Math scores are in the middle fifty percent, but looking at everyone else’s stats is kind of discouraging to say the least - good luck tho guys - hopefully we’ll all be classmates next year!

Mine doesn’t start until 4, and games usually end around 5:30 so I very well may miss it…usually we have to stay for JV afterwards but I’m going to see if one of my parents and come bring me home…this sucks! If decisions are already finalized, why can’t they release them…

And thanks for all the morale-boosting posts
guys!

well i have to leave my house at 6 that night to go to a concert. these concerts only happen twice a year. i can’t believe it happens to be on that night…

I would like to see the correlation between the number of frantic posts on Early decision threads to the delay of releasing decisions. If you were an admissions officer, don’t you think you would chuckle to yourself and wait a couple extra days…

Lucky for me Tuesdays are about the only day each week I dont have something to do :)

Im not sure Im going to be able to make it through this weekend…I am very relieved that we finally have a set date though.

I just realized I’m working Tuesday until 9. Nooooooo! I definitely need to take my break at 6 and find some way to get to a computer.

yes, we can all breathe now… until the 14th rolls around…

I thought our thread was long and then my friend showed me the Stanford thread

Hold on a second guys…whenever I personally go to the duke website (instead of clicking the link) the message about decisions does not appear. My mom also accessed the website from her computer at work and confirmed that the message did not appear for her either. I think we should consider whether the link is a fraud…someone who is good with computers could have changed the website and posted the link…

type www. admissions. duke. edu for yourself

(i put the spaces in there so it wouldn’t automatically turn it to a link)

Who is watching the Duke basketball game tonight?
