<p>Honestly I would rather be rejected than deferred. That way I can just focus on RD.</p>

I was just wondering if anyone knows if we get accepted, whether or not we get out financial aid packages right away? Are we supposed to get them with our decision, or will they be sent later? BUT, i HAVE turned in my 2011 CSS Profile on time.
I did not get an email from Duke, as some people did…does that mean anything?
Or was that email just about ED Contracts and CSS Profile, and other minor/obvious stuff??</p>

<p>i didn’t get an email either so i emailed them and they just said to turn it in asap because its needed to make a financial aid estimate. </p>

<p>my finals start tmrw… so i will be out of school by 1 (right after exams)
then go to my swim practice 1:30-3:30
go home and eat “lunch”, then take my little brother to his swim practice at 4:15…
i guess i will chill around a little then go home and refresh the website like crazy from 4:50- whenever the letter pops up…</p>

<p>completely agreed. i’ve been preparing myself for rejection so it won’t hurt as bad when i get it, so i always have this indifferent look when people ask me if i’m excited. still a bit nervous, though.</p>
