Duke 2015 ED applicants

@ lildeezul do you mean your letter for 2015? Or are you already a freshman

No, I am a Post graduate. I actually graduated last year (2010), but I am currently a PG (2011). I was saying hope to see everyone around next year at Duke - Class of 2015

I was a wrestling recruit, so I received my letter earlier than the posted date.

6 hours…unbelievable. sigh.

good luck to everyone! oh I’m incredibly getting nervous…

5 hours…wow

I live in london and its 06.30 already. Will have to wait till 11 tonight. Oh man.

4.5 hours.
im in science research right now with my best friend and she gets an acceptance from yale tomorrow and she is calming me down (or trying to)

@ chisomama I’m in the same boat as you!! 11pm…suckkks

4 hours…

How do y’all think the decision will be posted? Like under which section? Or will is just appear on the main screen when you log in? Hmmmm…

I think it could possibly be posted under a perhaps hidden, perhaps invisible, but always existing tab that some people might or might not have. And the having of such invisible tab can maybe determine ahead of time whether they did get in/ did not get in, or did not apply. Just speculating though.

I’m home and waiting! I’m in a good mood today. I guess I’ve finally come to realize I’ll be happy wherever I go. Good Luck everyone!! I hope everyone one us here and everyone who dreams to go to Duke is accpeted today!

3 hours and 10 minutes to go.
I have homework that I DEFINITELY should be doing right now. I’m going to do it until 5:15 because I do need to distract myself, not to mention get that hw done. Then I’m going to eat. Then I’m going to basketball at 5:45. Since I’m the team manager and I just sit at a table, at 6 p.m. I can totally just whip out my iPhone and check my decision.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO NERVOUS IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I worked really hard on my application. I think I’m well-qualified and that my personality shined through. However, I MUST be prepared not to get in for the mere reason that most people who apply to Duke don’t get in. At my school, so many well-qualified kids got deferred from UPenn, Stanford, Georgetown, and other good schools.
I literally have butterflies in my stomach and am almost shaking despite the fact that I still have like 3 hours to go. I’ve been waiting for this decision for what feels like SO long.

I’m at work at 6 but I’m taking my break then. I gotta borrow my friend’s blackberry though. The website should open on a blackberry right? I don’t know much about smart phones lol. I only have an EnV2.

@bobalina I concur with your assessment. Therefore, our time would probably be best spent clicking on all of the seemingly-unoccupied areas on our application checklists until we have located the position of said invisible button. Admissions can’t hide anything for us CCers.

Even stuff that doesn’t exist.

^

hahaha

I actually have a blackberry and tried to open the page on my phone to test it out, and it did not work…

2 hours to go!!!

Hey guys! Ive been following this thread for weeks now, but never actually posted myself, so I decided since Ive been playing angry birds for the last half hour instead of studying for my midterm tommorow, I should come and post instead. With under 2 hours to go, I just wanted to say thanks for helping me get through this past week- the wait has been torture, and its nice to know there ar eother people in the exact same position as myself :)

Good luck to all! We all mean more than the college acceptance letters, don’t sell yourself short. When one door closes, another door opens. Remember that!
