Wow, Duke posters are pretty chill. Brown & Cornell RD threads were jumping with likely letters and Princeton posters are going on about financial aid emails (and their correlation, if any, with admissions probability) but even with the admission announcement just a day away, not much activity here.
Well, we had multiple waves of LLs (BSAI, Latino, etc) discussions, and FA missing docs as well, among other flash topics, but I think many are now fatigue and just waiting for destiny…

I’m from Kazakhstan, don’t have money, and my SAT is 2060, so don’t try to predict anything. Just believe in yourselves

If I’m the only one that applied to Duke at my school, does that mean I have a higher chance of getting in?
@ashinthecut “higher chance” is a stretch. But it undoubtedly is in your favor (esp if you’re not only the only applicant from your school but also your district)!!
On the other side of that, does it really affect things if there are a lot of applicants from my school? I feel like every genius at my school applied to Duke, so I’m wondering if that hurts my chances significantly haha.

@erd2020 - If they want you, they’ll take you - regardless of your school. Columbia up and took 3 from my class of < 100 people.
