nah its how it works. cornell’s portal astrology also only worked on phone. ppl could basically see how much aid they got on their phone, and those who’s thing said “aid processing” were rejected.

no that astrology worked on computer too, you just needed to have the actual link
oh ok. i mean still, duke’s acceptance rate is like 3 and there’s one of us who can access. sounds to me like an accurate astro considering the reason why i even searched up for the admitted students day signup was cuz it was an accurate astro for stanford. stanford, duke, all these unis have the same portal 3rd party provider. that’s why it all looks so similar.
I’m not sure if they can actually even access it it doesn’t make sense that they can on pc but not phone
also the admitted students events thing for stanford didn’t work for anybody, they found some separate one on one link that was the one which actually ended up working for people (those people who it worked for still couldn’t access the admitted students day things either)

sorry this is kind of unrelated but i got a question about no interview
ive got Umich
waitlisted at northwestern, vanderbilt, and columbia
a decent amount of people at my school have gotten interviews, but i didn’t. tbh i feel like im more competitive than some of them and i dont think im an auto reject.
should i hold any hope for monday and anyone know of people who didnt get an interview while all their peers did, but still got in.

my thing got waived. and ive only submitted my fafsa which is complete.
i think i marked yes for aid, but i know im probably not qualifying. could that potentially be a reason why it’s waived so they know u wouldnt get aid. no dates updated for me.

Not sure… this is some BS though… stressful enough…don’t fall for the bait… complete nonsense. Odds, even if PERFECT to get into Duke… hey its a lottery of perfect students… so I’m just a parent here… don’t fall for this crap. Now, end of the day, also, so many people are way more successful than their college! My sister wasn’t the brightest, went to a local juco… now makes $1.8MM a year… and here I am a super smart 4 degree engineer making 1/3rd that … and my brother an MD making 1/2 that… so hey, you never know… life is hard… don’t value you’re life based on the U accepted too… its somewhat random… you’re smart, capable, you got this!!!
