@Extinguisher Thank you! I did not see your decision on the thread, but whatever happened, I wish you the best of luck. I know how difficult it is for internationals, especially those that apply for aid and don’t live in the US. Good luck!
Accepted I Can’t wait to get to Duke!!!
Looks like Duke saw you the way I said they would . Congrats! Can’t wait to meet everyone at Duke!
Duke releasing the decisions 10 minutes early was the worst plot twist ever, I was not mentally prepared at all. (-:
^^ I still waited till 7:05. My hands were trembling…I could barely touch the keys on the keyboard.

To all those rejected or deferred: dont give up on your hopes and dreams. Keep on working towards what you believe in. Everything happens for a reason- an oppprtunity lost is another one gained.
Emailed all the other schools I applied to withdraw my applications. This feels unreal!!
@Lift35 what did you tell them? Do you know if we can withdraw applications while they’re being evaluated? Or do we have to wait till those decisions come out? Thanks in Advance!
Does anyone know how financial aid works? Where can one view how much they’re awarded?
@hyk000 When you log in and see your decision letter, there should be a tab that says “Financial Aid.” Click on it and it should take you to a page called “My Financial Aid.” From there, click on the Aid Year (2017) and you should see your financial aid award if it has been processed. You can also see how much cost of attendance is and your Expected Family Contribution.
@Mango920452 I kindly told them that I was accepted elsewhere under early decision and now must withdraw my application. You can withdraw now (I think you have to) you don’t have to wait.
@hyk000 it should all be in your applicant portal when you log in under the financial aid tab.
