financial aid is always separate from admissions, maybe the reason our forms keep getting “re-downloaded” is that they haven’t finished our offer yet, or our offers are harder to make based off of our given forms
Does anybody know for sure what day/time decisions come out? Also, will they all come out at the same time or will the releases be spread out?
I’m pretty sure DUke decisions come out on Ivy Day this year (March 26).
Does anyone know when merit scholarship finalist notifications will go out?
I think they come out tomorrow. I read that they come out on the first Friday of March.
Another one of my financial aid forms was downloaded 3/3… now I have 9 downloaded on 2/27, 1 downloaded on 3/3 and 2 downloaded on 12/24. Doubt this all means nothing since im 100% getting rejected, but it is strangle how these document dates keep changing…
@jessicaereyi07 . where did you read? i thoght it comes out with Ivys
Merit scholarship finalist notifications can be thought of as the Duke version of a likely letter.
found out this from the duke website -
Please note: Finalist notifications for Merit Scholarships (excluding Robertson) will be sent via email by Friday, March 13, 2020.

@GAParent2017 Where does it say that because that seems much later than previous years?
Saw it on https://ousf.duke.edu/our-selection-process
Note it says “by”. So it could also come out today.
I bet they are struggling with what to do about coronovirus. UVA cancelled the finalist weekend for the Jefferson Scholarship and will only be doing Skype interviews - a HUGE change. I imagine Duke is trying to determine what to do about the scholarship weekend at the end of this month.
@Thinkbigger admission decisions come out Ivy Day. Merit Scholarship invites - which are also likely letters - will come out by Friday, 3/13.
just saw a post on reddit abt someone else getting a likely letter, two other ppl in the comments said they got one too. must be nice
I got a likely letter, but it didn’t say anything about a scholarship. Does that mean I didn’t get it?
@jessicaereyi07 wow congrats! and i have no idea, lol, but i don’t think so since they haven’t announced any scholarships yet
@jessicaereyi07 that’s great! congratulations to you!
@jessicaereyi07 congrats! what are your stats and like stuff lol
@DrSenioritis what form was downloaded on 3/3. My portal has this as of today:
Received Student Non-Filer Form 03/06/2020
all else say 2/27
Anyone else??
Can those who were blessed with a likely letter tell us about the dates of their financial aid forms on their portals?
