Dyson hair dryer

Merry Christmas @deb922 !! Looks like you made a great choice!

I have the Dyson and like it a lot! You really should use the funnel that aims the stream of air or you will end up with lots of little knots. You can get a universal attachment online if you don’t get one with the dryer.

I’m on my 2nd one, my first one stopped working after 6 years or so. Probably my fault for not cleaning the filter regularly. Brought it to a Dyson repair place and bought a new one with a discount they offered. I have thick, curly hair. I can blow dry my hair really smooth, to me it’s worth the price.

My daughter loves her air wrap.

My daughter has a Dyson hair dryer, and I enjoy using it when I stay with her. It dries my hair quickly and without frizz, especially when I use it with a round brush. I bought a Dyson Airwrap, but I didn’t want to bother learning all the different techniques required to use it, so I gave it to my daughter instead.

Right before Thanksgiving I dropped my volumizing dryer/round brush and broke it. Our hair dryer, which we’ve had over 10 years, has also shown some signs it’s on its way out, so decided to take advantage of Black Friday sales and got a Shark system. We are enjoying the hair dryer, but I’m still getting the hang of the other attachments. I did go ahead and purchase another volumizing dryer/round brush (the Revlon) because the Shark attachment wasn’t replicating the one I broke.

Before ruining it by checking the Images results from a web search, I envisioned a halo-shaped device attached to a clear rubber/plastic headband. You put on the “headband” and the “halo” above blasts your scalp with hot, 100mph wind. I would have expected such a device from Dyson. hehe

I fondly remember the first time I encountered one of their hand-drying devices. I stared at it for a good minute before figuring out its purpose.
