Do those numbers mean the percenttage of people accepted early, or the percentage of the freshman class that applied early? If it’s the former, wow. 60% admitted, that’s ridiculous. In fact, just thinkin about that makes me belive it must be the latter.

<p>What I meant to say is that out of all people that applied EA to Caltech for the class of 2011, about 60% were deferred, 20% admitted and 20% rejected (this is the approximate distribution).</p>
