JtotheEW, congratulations! It will be interesting to see what happens when May 1st rolls around! Which schools will get all of you outstanding students?

Yesterday my daughter got letter saying that they have everything and will soon be reading her application. They certainly are good about sending out letters notifying us of every step in this process. She got her id number and password to check on her application updates. It says that we will hear as soon as they go over it, as they are sent out “as they go”. It sounds like it will not be much longer, of course she could have applied EA if she wanted an earlier answer!

I received my acceptance letter today with a $10,000/year Presidential Scholarship.

I haven’t heard from USD yet, but I’ve been accepted to SCU as a Dean’s Scholar as well as UC Berkeley and San Diego. I am out-of-state, so the UC’s may be out of my parents’ price range. I’ve never visited USD, but will probably will fly to California over spring break to have a look at it (assuming I get in!) and the other schools. SAT: CR-740, M-650, W-780 (2170), ACT 31, wgpa 4.06.
