It depends on the school and the score. For any school that is test required, report the highest score your child already has. You can update admissions later if the re-test is higher.
For schools that are test optional, look to see where the current score falls within their test range (you can look that information up on each school’s common data set). If the score is in the range, I’d send what you have and then again, update admissions later if there is a higher score.
The one school that says they’re fine waiting until 11/7 is obviously the exception.
